Reel Trad

Did you ever dream of being able to play music with other musicians but were not comfortable joining a regular session?

“Reel Trad” is a group of adult musicians who meet on a monthly basis to play and learn new tunes in a sociabable atmosphere. The venue changes from perhaps “The Music Room” on some occasions to local or even distant venues.

“Reel Trad” endeavour to improve their standard and confidence of musicianship by playing music with others in an unpressurized atmosphere. We are fortunate to be joined by well known local musicians at all our sessions. The natural format of these sessions often inspires songs, stories and dancing performances.

"Reel Trad" sessions often take place on the Saturday (9.30 p.m.) preceding a Sunday workshop. However it will be necessary to check with Mary (by email)when booking the workshop.
